Visible + Infrared Weapon Light
The Monolith-NV is a purpose-built dual-spectrum illumination device designed specifically for night vision applications. We created it because we couldn’t find a weapon-mounted light that delivered modern high-performance white light alongside a properly collimated LED IR illuminator.
Drawing on years of designing aftermarket optics for laser aiming modules, we developed a deep understanding of the extreme durability these devices must withstand — from daily abuse to heavy recoil. The Monolith-NV reflects that experience. Internal electronics are fully epoxy-potted for superior shock and recoil resistance. Strategic relief cuts reduce weight while increasing surface area for better cooling and added structural rigidity. Pyramidal corner geometries act as sacrificial crumple zones, protecting the internals from drops and impacts.
Separate side-by-side apertures deliver optimized beam profiles for each spectrum. The visible channel produces 1000 lumens and 40,000 candela from the industry-leading SFT-25R LED paired with a smooth reflector for maximum throw. The NIR channel outputs 1000mW of 850nm infrared light through two dedicated collimating lenses, creating a crisp 15° circular beam. This focused IR output minimizes common NVG issues such as autogating from foreground overexposure and significantly reduces suppressor shadow.
A simple rear toggle switch allows instant selection between visible and IR modes. The monolithic body also features an integrated USB-C port compatible with UNITY Tactical’s LINK system, giving you broad pressure pad and remote switch support right out of the box.
Machined from 7075 aluminum with a hard-coat matte black anodized finish, the Monolith-NV measures a compact 3.82” (97 mm) long × 1.95” (49.5 mm) wide × 0.98” (24.8 mm) thick. It weighs 7.5 oz and runs on an unprotected 18650 battery (Samsung flat-top recommended, maximum 67mm length) for peak output and efficiency. Buy them cheap here:
