Refund policy
We have a 30-day full refund policy. VWS LLC reserves the right to evaluate and determine an acceptable return claim.
After 30 days, returns are not accepted, but your product still has it's individual warranty. All housings and hardware are warrantied by us for life. If you have a problem with the housing, contact us and we will repair/replace it. Our standard optical diffusers are also warrantied by us for life. To start a return, you can contact us at support@villainweaponsystems.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
Our devices are hand made will durability in mind. Because most of our optical products are handmade, however, one should expect small blemishes that occur naturally during the manufacturing process. EVERY PRODUCT is inspected for proper functionality before it is shipped. If your device does not work functionally, it should eligible for refund during the determination process.
Some of our products REQUIRE an unorthodox mounting method in order for the optical enhancement to function properly. These methods may include users to install set-screws, epoxy potting, thread-locking, bedding or even adhesion so that the device seats properly. Set-screws, for example, may cause marring to your device (or other forms or deformation/damage)--by purchasing this product you agree that this may occur during installation and VWS is not responsible for those damages.
Because of our unorthodox methods of optical attachment, it is to be known that hard use may cause our devices to sheer off your device and possibly damage both devices; by purchasing our products you agree that VWS is not responsible to any damages to your property.
Our products are designed so that minimal shift in angle occurs to the illuminator or designator, but we do not guarantee a zero-shift system.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
